The Social Justice and Political Advocacy Working Group of the General Association of Baptists in Kentucky, led by Rev. Wanda Mitchell Smith, has conducted two informational sessions with churches and church leaders across the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The subject of the Zoom meetings was to provide information and to empower our churches to take advantage of the proposed $8 million, which may be appropriated by the Kentucky Legislature to address safety and safety-related enhancements to houses and communities of Worship across Kentucky.
