Registration Includes:  Workshop sessions & Meals

 

Friday Night Meal-
Salad, Spaghetti, and a vegetable, garlic bread.

 

Saturday Breakfast-

Continental Breakfast with juices, coffee and water

 

Saturday Lunch-

Chicken (Baked/Fried) Green beans, Corn and Mashed potatoes, Roll

First Session: 9:00-10:00 am
EDUCATED

Location: (Sanctuary)

Session Overview:  Participants will understand the importance of THE WORD when leading youth ministries.  Participants will be reminded that By putting God/HIS WORD first –all the other things will be added.  In addition, participants will become EDUCATED and provided information, skills, resources that can be utilized to educate their youth socially, culturally, academically, personally while creating networks for implementation.

Second Session: 10:15-11:15am
EMPOWERED

Instructor:
Pastor Tim Collazo

Session Overview: Participants will identify areas that hinder (their) youth and make them feel powerless and be reminded of/and given insight of the importance of Spiritual Empowerment. (hard to do the work of God-without God)/more than just a role at the church.--The importance of Prayer, Fasting, and utilizing spiritual weapons especially as it pertains to leading our youth and their families.

 

Third Session: 11:30-12:30pm

EQUIPPED

Instructor:

Pastor Roland Butler III

Session Overview: Participants will identify challenges in their local churches/areas as it pertains to serving and leading youth as well as how to enhance or use what they have.  In addition, participants will be given ideas, resources. “Equipment-if you will” to better serve their youth. (social media, music, --meeting youth where they are)

Lunch: 12:30-1:00pm

 

Closing Session: 1:15-2:30pm

Session Overview:  Participants will engage in a youth centered worship.  Instructions will be provided on how to engage youth in ministry “consistently”. In addition, participants will be provided the opportunity to identify what “youth leaders” need to do differently in worship.

The session will end with intercessory prayer for our youth, their families, pastors, churches, communities, and world.
