† “Sermons in a Box: The Preaching Ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” – This session offers a close examination of Dr. King’s never-before-published sermons. It will discuss the preaching ministry of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in the context of the Black freedom struggle. It will also examine the political and religious thought that shaped King’s commitment to equality, nonviolence, integration, and social justice.
